Witch Creek Publishing is a small press dedicated to the publication of historical women's fiction and detective fiction with an element of southern gothic.
About Our Authors
Rebecca Barrett writes historical fiction; short stories of life in the South; a detective series set in the deep South of the sixties featuring Hugo August, a Vietnam veteran, as her protagonist; and cozy mysteries starring Callahan, cat of the street, cat of mystery, artful, cagey. She is currently working on the third book in the Hugo August Detective Series, Something Wicked.
Rebecca lives in the lovely village of Fairhope, Alabama, situated on Mobile Bay, where she finds inspiration all around her.

Susan Y. Tanner turned her passion for history into a writing career with sweeping historical romances of the American West and Scotland. More recently, her published work includes not-so-cozy mysteries headlining a feline supersleuth and romantic suspense novels which bring the descendants of her western novels into the present.
She is currently writing women's historical fiction set in the 1930s. Her current work-in-progress, A Train Toward Hope will be available in the spring of 2027.
